Design
Rob Machado and Dan Mann have created the Mashup: A melding of each of their most popular designs; the Seaside and the Spitfire. The Mashup is made for weak, slow waves and the ultimate groveler.
Shape
Wide Outline in front with a low rocker line for easy paddling and glide through the weakest, slowest sections of the wave. The bottom has a double concave with a bit of Vee running of the tail. This makes it a board that paddles easy, gets up and goes fast. The Swallow Tail with low rails allows it a snappy, drivey, high-performance feel to get you the most out of every wave you catch. Therefore, it’s also a great transitional board for the more beginner surfer who is ready to take the step away from their longboard.
Sizing
Advanced surfers will want to ride this board as much as 5-7 inches below their height. A more intermediate level surfer will want to stick to something a little below their height. Have an eye on your volume and add a extra Liter for the north sea.
Comes with 5-fin option, so enough room to test.
